On December 21, 2005, the National Regulatory Authority for Communications, hosted the ceremony of signing the three-party agreements for the installation of telecentres in the rural localities deprived of telephone services. This event gathered together the ANRC President, Mr. Dan Cristian Georgescu, representatives of the companies winning the tender for the implementation of Universal Service (Euroweb Romania, Mobifon, Orange Romania, Romtelecom and the National Radio-communications Company) and mayors of the beneficiary localities.  

 

On this occasion, the ANRC President presented a summary of the Authorities’ activities for 2005, highlighting the most prominent achievements of the Authority in 2005 and the main trends of the Romanian communications market, three years from the moment of its full liberalisation.
